Winpak is pleased to report for the 4th year in a row we achieved “leadership” status by scoring A- in the 2021 Supplier Engagement Rating (SER) from CDP . The SER assesses performance on governance, targets, scope 3 emissions and value chain engagement.
Why is this important? An organization’s upstream emissions are typically 11 times greater than emissions from their own direct operations. Effectively engaging and working with our broad spectrum of suppliers on matters impacting climate change is critical to help us and them achieve emission reduction targets.
Winpak is proud of this recognition and is thankful for the partnership and collaboration we have with our suppliers that are engaged with us on this journey.
