Winpak Films, Inc. (“Winpak Films”), a division of Winpak Ltd, has purchased approximately 44 acres adjacent to its existing facility in Senoia for a potential future expansion. Winpak Films purchased the property from the Senoia Development Authority for $890,000 on October 11.

James Holland, Winpak Films President, stated, “Investing and expanding in Georgia is strategic to the growth of Winpak in North America as it becomes a region of choice for many talented employees in terms of quality of life and cost of living. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with the City and County to make this important decision to continue expanding Winpak’s vision of providing the best packaging solutions for people and planet.”

“We are fortunate to have the support from our Board and Executive team to invest in the growth of Winpak Films, which will help add more jobs and capital in the region in the coming years, said Vishal Khushalani, Winpak Films General Manager. “It’s great to partner with the Mayor, Dub Pearman, and Development Authority Chair, Carlotta Ungaro, to make this vision a reality and get the support needed from the City and its council members. Also, I applaud the efforts of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber President, Candace Boothby, to connect businesses and Universities alike to help develop talent and provide the necessary support needed for growing in the region”.

Mayor Pearman, who has been instrumental in this deal, stated, “Senoia and Coweta County are blessed to have a company like Winpak here providing good jobs and investing in our town. We welcome the future investment and job creation in our region.”

Boothby, who has worked with Winpak on education and workforce initiatives, welcomes the news. “Winpak has long been an excellent corporate citizen in our county. Our community works hard to build a business-friendly environment, making it a place of choice to bring good jobs.”

The City of Senoia and the Development Authority have worked closely with Winpak since the end of 2022. During that time, the Development Authority also crafted and approved its first strategic plan to support growing its existing industries and potentially attracting new investment.
