Traffic Coordinator

Winpak Ltd., a public company, operates ten production facilities in Canada, the United States and Mexico, with its head office located in Winnipeg. Continued growth in sales has positioned the Company as one of the leaders in the North American market for the supply of flexible and rigid plastic packaging. If you have worked in a maintenance or technical capacity within a food or medical packaging facility, we are looking for your skills and experience. Winpak's location in Winnipeg, Manitoba is currently searching to fill the position of: TRAFFIC COORDINATOR - TERM

-Report Domestic and International Orders shipped including: Data Entry within required (real-time) time frame, coordinate items picked for shipment, calculate freight and ensure correct terms are used, arrange special heavy weight shipments
-Process Documents necessary for shipments including: Packing Slip, Bill of Lading, Customs Invoice, Caricoms, Special Export documents, Line Releases, -Waybills and any other documents required for customs clearance and delivery of shipment
-Finished Goods Inventory including: cycle counts, physical inventory counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies for all locations and make adjustments.
-Process Courier Shipments (FedEx, UPS etc.)
-Manage / Arrange Offshore Shipments and Export Containers including: Process Temporary Import Bonds as required, Work Directly with Freight Forwarders, -Obtain Quotes and Monitor Shipments and Audit and Code Offshore and Freight Forwarder Invoices – Submit to Accounts Payable 
-Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Traffic Service Guide
-Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and company. Interact with all levels of the operation in a professional manner.

-Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-Secondary Education an asset
-CITA and/or CITT courses are an asset
-2 years’ experience working in a transportation, warehousing, and distribution environment
-Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
-Can pick up and understand other software applications easily
-Display and maintain accurate data entry and record skills
-Excellent planning skills and capable of meeting tight deadlines
-Good interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills
-Self-driven and committed to learn and grow with Winpak Division.
