Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Receptionist’s main responsibility is operation of the switchboard by ensuring that all calls are answered and forwarded in a professional and prompt manner.  The Receptionist ensures all visitors to Winpak are greeted courteously and tactfully and affirms Winpak’s security procedures are implemented.


-Operate switchboard and other office equipment
-Greet incoming visitors at reception
-Process incoming and outgoing mail
-Prepare basic Word and Excel documents
-Interact with all levels and departments of the organization
-Perform other administrative duties as assigned


-Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum 1-year previous reception experience
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word & Excel) 
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent customer service skills
-Must adhere to company dress code policy
-Must be reliable and punctual
-Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
-Above-average interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills.
-Other combinations of education, experience, knowledge, and skills will be considered.
