Programmer Analyst

The individual is responsible for the development and support of software solutions, reports, dashboards and databases for Winpak Heat Seal facilities. He/she must carry out programming projects by analyzing, programming and documenting the solutions developed while responding to punctual requests from users.


  • Meet with users and introduce them to the services that the Information Technology Department can provide;
  • Analyze the needs of the users or departments and define the request;
  • Produce functional analysis;
  • Establish timelines for project completion;
  • Submit analysis plans and timelines;
  • Upon acceptance, implement and develop the software, report or dashboard solution using the appropriate languages and tools according to the project;
  • Deliver test versions and collaborate with testing;
  • Train users on the use of the new software, report or dashboard depending on the situation;
  • Be prepared to respond to punctual reports or other requests;
  • Manage SQL databases;
  • Production of month-end reports for finance;
  • Performs all other tasks as required by his/her immediate supervisor.


DCS or ACS as Programmer Analyst;
5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL databases (T-SQL), SQL Reporting, Analysis Services, and Visual Studio;
5 years of experience in functional analysis and software development;
5 years of experience with languages such as C#, T-SQL, JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, MVC core;
Basic knowledge of accounting and manufacturing an asset;
BI Knowledge like dashboards, Cubes OLAP;
Bilingualism (French/English) is essential;
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Sense of initiative and autonomy;
Ability to work under pressure.
