Reporting to the Controller this position performs accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable per corporate policy.


Prepare and maintain Accounts Payable system. This includes sorting and matching invoices to purchases orders and receivers, inputting invoices for payment, process check requests, prepare and process accounts payable for checks and wire transfers.
Maintain vendor file maintenance per corporate policy
Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
Assist in the month end closing by preparing the following entries; accruals,  insurance and prepaid accounts on a monthly basis.
Reconciliation of account analysis on a monthly basis.
To maintain the Accounts Payable control procedures per the Sarbanes-Oxley narratives and alert the Controller of any inadequacies.
Work on special projects as needed.


Basic mathematical and clerical skills
Knowledge of automated Accounts Payable Systems
Solid communications and organizational skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.


3 years of experience in an office setting, preferably in Accounts Payable
High School Diploma
Associated Degree is a plus
