New from Winpak - Universal Sealing Blister Foil

Winpak has introduced an innovative universal sealing, extrusion-coated blister foil to its portfolio of WINCARE flexible packaging products. The foil is designed to seal to all blister films and can be printed in-line with all commercially available printing processes. The WINCARE sealant allows for a broader and more consistent sealing range to standard PVC or PVdC films on blister packaging lines. Additionally, the new foil can be easily pushed through by the consumer.

The universal sealing feature of this innovative blister foil has gained significant interest at pharmaceutical companies searching for alternatives to traditional lacquered foils that do not provide strong seals to the many non-PVC or non-PVdC blister films now entering the market. The WINCARE universal sealant is sealable to PVC, PVdC, PS, HIPS, PET, PP, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, COC, SBC, PLA, BOPA, PCTFE (Aclar®) and Barex® resins. The foil is available in hard and soft tempers, in thicknesses of 20-micron and 25-micron, and complies with all FDA regulatory requirements. All products are DMF registered.
