Coextrusion capabilities, up to eleven layers, enable the combination of many different materials to produce structures that enhance performance. This often promotes downgauging and raw material cost savings for the medical device industry. The coextruded films offer clear advantages over alternate films that are laminated or coated in multi-step processes.

Winpak also supplies medical pouch stock in various laminated combinations of paper/foil/poly and die-cut foil for packaging of saline and sterile water, as well as for drug testing specimen collection kits.

Winpak's European affiliate, Wipak Medical also offers a broad product range in North America adding to the selection of Winpak manufactured materials that include:
