Winpak Ltd., a public company, operates ten production facilities in Canada, the United States and Mexico, with it's head office located in Winnipeg. Continued growth in sales has positioned the company as one of the leaders in the North American market for the supply of flexible and rigid plastic packaging. Winpak's location in Winnipeg, Manitoba is currently searching to fill the position of:
CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGER
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Capital Projects Manager will assume responsibility for Capital Projects Team, focused on the design, installation and start-up of equipment associated with various Capital projects. The Capital Projects Manager will also provide technical support to the production and maintenance groups, designing machine modifications and trouble-shooting equipment-related problems with the aim of improving overall safety, quality and productivity.

Qualifications for the position includes:

- A professional engineering designation is preferred, but consideration will be given to relevant experience in a leadership project management role.
- A minimum 5 years’ experience managing projects and project teams, with the proven ability to develop and maintain project time lines and budgets for major capital projects: ability to supervise and motivate others, including subcontractors, in a team environment.
- Experience designing and improving equipment, facilities, and systems within an industrial environment.
- Other combinations of training and experience will be considered.
