Company Structure

Winpak operates in one reportable business segment, that being the manufacture and sale of packaging materials. However, customers are offered packaging machines in conjunction with certain packaging materials that emanate from two distinct packaging technologies. Consequently, within this single market segment, Winpak has three business units. The largest and original business unit is flexible packaging. The second business unit is rigid packaging and flexible lidding, which are marketed as a system. Rounding out Winpak's product offering as the third business unit is specialized packaging machines.

Winpak distributes packaging materials throughout all regions of Canada, the United States of America, Mexico, the Caribbean, certain countries in South America and, with respect to rigid packaging and flexible lidding, Great Britain. Winpak packaging equipment is distributed worldwide.

Winpak is comprised of business units operating within three streams of packaging technology - flexible materials, rigid packaging and flexible lidding materials and packaging machines:
